covid-19 information

pomelo grove's commitments

Everyone at Pomelo Grove is mindful of both COVID-19’s profound impact and of our community’s real need for an escape into nature. The safety and wellbeing of our guests is our top priority. We are closely monitoring local and state guidelines, as well as procedural advice from the WHO and CDC.

Because Tennessee State Park Campgrounds are now open, we are following suit. Given that each of our campers comfortably sleeps 2 adults or 2 adults + 1 child, and that each camper is dozens of yards away from the next, we feel Pomelo Grove is a perfect post-quarantine getaway. Rest assured we are taking extra precautions:

  • Contact-free check-in

  • Rigorous cleaning of campers between stays with EPA registered disinfectants

  • Firepit seating will be situated 6 feet apart

  • Any staff member who is ill or who has contact with a COVID-19 patient will be instructed to stay home.

cancellations

Reservations must be cancelled 30+ days prior to check-in for a full refund.

No refunds are given for events out of our control like weather, acts of god, and illness that cuts trips short. This includes severe weather like heavy rains sometimes experienced during hurricane season.

To protect our community, we respectfully request that guests experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 and guests with recent exposure to the virus cancel and reschedule their trip. If you are within the 30-day window, please contact us about the best way to proceed. As a small (new!) business, we hope that guests who are considering canceling their reservation will instead rebook their stay for a date later in the season.
