Grounds Manager, Pomelo Grove Eco-Campground

Pomelo Grove is a boutique campground, offering camper rentals that provide a boutique hotel experience in an off-the-grid setting on the picturesque Bloomsbury Farm. We exist to show love through hospitality and provide our guests with one of a kind memorable experiences, and you would be a key person to help us do that. As grounds manager, you’ll be in charge of all aspects of making the guest experience spectacular during their stay: delivering an impressively clean and well stocked accommodation and being a personable, helpful host.

You have the following qualities:

• People person: enjoys chit chatting and making people feel special and loved

• Entrepreneurial: takes a strong sense of ownership over your work

• Clean freak: has a high standard of cleanliness

• Attention to detail: wants everything to be perfectly in its place

• Solution oriented: can think on your feet and troubleshoot

• Handy: generally comfortable with a basic tools and can figure out how (simple) things work or are eager to learn

 

Nice to haves:

• Drives a truck 

• Has comfort with learning simple generator maintenance

 

Overview of the job:

• Cleaning and restocking campers before each guest

• Managing off-the-grid utilities: maintaining generators and pumping water

• Greeting guests, answering questions, and making them feel cared for

• Promptly responding to guest needs during their stay

• Managing supplies and laundry between stays

 

The pay is $20 per hour. Hours vary due to seasonality and also depend on bookings; the high season is May through October. Have a special circumstance or need certain flexibilities? Reach out!
